How to repair a hydraulic cylinder?

How to repair the cylinder barrel, piston and piston rod worn or grooved?

1) When repairing, accurately measure its inner, outer diameter and roundness. If the inner hole of the cylinder is worn badly, it can be repaired by grinding the mandrel or honing on the boring machine; if the outer circle of the piston is worn out, it can be repaired by electroplating, and the worn out should be replaced. If the piston rod is worn, brush plating and then grinding, and finally adjust the matching accuracy of the piston rod and the guide sleeve. At this time, the guide sleeve can be properly reamed or the guide sleeve can be re-machined. When making the above repairs, remember to replace various rubber seals in time.

2) Brush plating or welding repair can be used to repair the piston rod when it has drawn grooves or other hard injuries. When repairing welding, first place the piston rod firmly, wash off the oil with acid water, and then bend a piece of red copper plate (thickness 2 mm) into the size and shape of the welding opening according to the actual needs, and finally use the screw to screw it. Clamp it on the piston rod and use insulating materials to block the adjacent area before repair welding can be started. It must be ground after welding.
